It's Time for Christmas at Melanie Bond Boutique

The festive season is fast approaching and Melanie Bond Boutique is ready to sprinkle some serious Christmas magic! This year, Melanie and her team are hosting not one but two incredible events that you will not want to miss. Whether you are looking for a festive night out full of fashion, music and sparkle, or a daytime adventure with Christmas trees, crafts and treats, they’ve got you covered. 

Kick things off on Thursday 27th November at 7.30pm with the Christmas Story Fashion Show at Garvaghy Presbyterian Church. This isn’t just any fashion show. Melanie Bond and Wearable Truth have pulled together a one-of-a-kind extravaganza telling the real story of Christmas based on the ‘Nine Lessons and Carols’. Expect fashion, music, visual displays and nine beautifully decorated Christmas trees, each representing a theme from creation to incarnation. 

The night promises to be poignant, festive and wonderfully immersive. You’ll be treated to live music by Maria Gilpin and Stephen & Rosa Bond, enjoy festive refreshments and get exclusive 

access to “Shop the Show” for some Christmas gift inspiration. The event is compered by the lovely broadcaster Cate Conway, and tickets are £15 each. A portion of sales will go to Samaritan’s Purse for the Christmas shoe box appeal. If a daytime festive adventure is more your style, head to the Garvaghy Presbyterian Church Christmas Tree Field and Market on Saturday 29th November from 10am to 2pm. The church is selling Christmas trees straight from their field at just £20, and there is so much more than just trees. 

Expect live music, festive refreshments, a Christmas story for kids with real animals and a craft fair packed with local talent. You can browse creative stands from Black Sheep Potter, Hold Steady Neddy, Buick House Candles, Dromore Beekeepers, and of course, Melanie Bond Boutique with her fabulous clothing, accessories and handmade jewellery. There are wreaths, floral arrangements, homemade bakes, Christian crafts, homeware and so much more.

This event is completely free, and the Christmas Tree display within the church sanctuary is a highlight, telling the story of Christmas through Nine Lessons in Carols. Each tree is decorated by local creatives and it’s truly a sight to behold.
